The first few aviacra were going good, took like 1 minute and they were all dead... But the trolls =\ I aggro that big first grp in the entrance when entering the cave. Put skills on, blah blah.. I don't die but the trolls keep running away at 50-75% of their HP. Than they gain slowly health and come back.. What must i do? I use the build you describe in the thread from what i gave link above.
Many thanks,

Hit one of them. As long as you keep hitting it, it won't run away. Seems stupid, but just look at their life bars, pick the one with the lowest life, and hack at him while your spells do the dirty work.
By the way, foes only run/alternate if they're more than 3 on the mob. 3 will stay until dead. So keep hitting the ones that are most hurt until 3 are left, then all of them will die.
Ranged foes do not scatter from SoJ damage either, thats why the avicara were easy(probably 2 were braves, so thats why they didn't run away).
Also, trolls are nerfed to hell drop wise. Stay there until you get how the build works, then move on. The best farming spot a 55 is, by far, the Dead Sword farming spot.

Yes well it went better now..
Well the first time i did it i just standed there and did the spells, however.. it was like the way the switched.. few run off, few attack, the one than run off recharge health, others lower health that attack me. Than the ones that attack me run off and the others who gained HP ran back to me :P But running a bit too them works yup
I'll first practice a bit outside droknar, and try your tip about Dead Sword farming ^^
Thanks ArKaiN
Erm EDIT: For what game is Deadsword farming? Prophecies/Factions or NF?

Its on NF, in The Desolation (4th area you hit if you're doing the missions). Its not very easy to explain the method, so check out the first post on this thread, there's a video
good luck, man =]

Quick note about the Dolyak Masters and Giant Herders outside Camp Rankor:
The Dolyak Masters *can* be killed reasonably easily if you herd two groups together and wand the Dolyak Master constantly. They'll try to heal the Giant Herders taking damage from Shield of Judgement and tend towards neglecting their own healing. They will heal themselves occasionally, but if you use a wand with a chance of HSR like Wroth's, you can get a fast recharge of SoJ in, which pretty much dooms the Dolyak Master.
Also note that the Stone Summit Heretics in that area can also be killed with your 55 monk - NOT the way you think, either. They tend to wander solo amongst the Blessed Griffons. If you switch armour sets to a normal adventuring set, aggro the Heretic, wait for it to Shatter Enchantment something unimportant, then cast SoJ and cover with Healing Breeze. The degen from the 2 hexes they cast will be countered by HB and you can wand/SoJ them to death. This clears them out so you can kill the griffons.

great guide, i was really enjoying reading it, thank you a lot (and all those people who helped you)
but let me have a question, you mentioned tattoo armor in the guide, so is there any other reason for using tattoo armor besides having larger energy pool, or any radiant armor can be used? it seems a bit confusing for me

Any radiant armor works. They all serve the same purpose.

argh. well the update finally came. added a couple of requested sections and some updated content as well.
Secondly, I've been getting a lot of questions lately about EoE, dervish secondaries, etc. hopefully I'll figure out how to word things properly and figure out where i can squeeze them in.
Lastly I would just like to thank all of you who have PM'ed me in game thanking me for my guide and would like to remind those who don't get a response from me that I might be afk and I'm sorry that I couldn't get to you/couldn't get to you sooner.
Again, if you have any ideas or comments please post them but keep the flames minimal (constructive criticism at the most please).

Just a question on EoE, how many of you find the effects of this spirit to be somewhat "lacking"? Using the Famine/55 combo in UW and it seems like EoE doesn't really dish out much damage at all
Tsunami Rain - Just another shout of thanks for your hard work. Been 55'ing for a while and it is always nice finding a new build that I didn't think to try yet

Don't bother. As of 4/19 solo-farming is dead (correct me if I'm wrong). Sold my 55 gear while the runes are still worth anything.
Well goodbye PvE. Apparently it was too hard for some. I don't know what Anet is trying to accomplish by changing this long-standing game mechanic. I don't like being forced into a full party if I need to make money. How is one supposed to be able to afford 15k armor now, much less FoW? Why did Anet even make them?
I guess they are trying to make the game more equal by eliminating the source of money and items. Nevermind that some people have been hording greens and such like squirrels since the game was started. These items had become devalued to the point that a person just starting out could afford them. Now, they will most likely drastically increase in cost so that they are out of reach of the new player.
But we have collectors and chests? Yes, collectors weapons don't have mods, and mods cost more than most greens. And after collecting all the weapons from the treasure chests, one might be able to piece together a decent weapon for a class. Maybe not.
I don't see how this is good for the game at all.
I blame the noobs on GW Online.
[edit: OK, maybe it's not so doomsday as I first though (due to Anet's very wise revision), but it looks like green farming is now the way to go. That is unless you don't care about the reduced cash dropping. At least i still have my 55 necro and silver sin. And I still blame the noobs on GW Online.

recast mending, balths spirits, or essence bond, mobs will try to interrupt them and those are already cast on you, so you dont mind having it interrupted.
Only works if you can afford the 10e spending
